Here at Snoozles Hostel we recognize that tourism leaves behind a carbon footprint – our goal is through environmentally-friendly initiatives, sustainable practices and awareness campaigns for staff and guests we are committed to reducing our impact on the environment.
We strive to offer an unrivaled guest experience whilst at the same time encourages our guests to think about their sustainability and create a positive awareness during their stay with us.
We have implemented the following measures to help manage and reduce our waste, water, energy & carbon consumption;

- Sustainable refilling practices used for spices and herbs
- Installed aerated shower heads
- Use green energy where possible
- Installed dual flush toilets
- Encourage guests to walk or use public transport
- Light bulbs changed to LED lighting
- Offer a filtered water refill station
- Staff training on waste management
- Bake our own bread in-house
- Added a compost bin for guests and staff use
- Biodiversity garden
