Spanish Arch/Claddagh

The Spanish arch is positioned on the left bank of the Corrib River, and is one of Galway’s historical gems, dating back to pre-medieval times. Today it is always full of life, interesting people, large crowds gather here on a sunny day (Calling it the Sparch) people eat, drink, play music and it is a great place to visit.
